Its not often that I write articles that aren’t related to the automotive industry or cash for cars however I felt I needed to share this with our readers, friends and followers.

Last week on a flight back from Florida I met a man on the plane Francis Mesaros.  Francis wasn’t having the best of days as many of us have had at one time or another.  You see, Francis had lost his dog of 16 years and he was extremely upset about this.  A few years back, my wife Carol and I had the unfortunate circumstance of having to put down our beloved bull mastiff Winston.  If you’re a dog person you understand that dogs are like members of the family and in many cases you feel for dogs more than people at times.  Our conversation started off about his dog China and we ended up talking about life in general.  We shared stories about my prior law enforcement career to him being a successful artist who achieve the first patent involving a technique in over 80 years.

Francis you see inspired me not by his artwork as I had no idea about or what his work looked like at the time but his life story.  This is a man who has gone through more heartache and more roadblocks in life than most could ever imagine or endure.  I will not share these stories as they are not mine to share but the fact that they were confided in me made me appreciate the finer things in life and to enjoy what you have and to aspire to be more than accept complacency.

When I got home I was able to view his artwork.  I’m not an art connoisseur other than a fan of my 10 year old Erica’s artwork however I was taken back by his work.  His paintings not only reflect his talent but display hope, optimism and beauty.

My flight home was one of the quickest and enjoyable I ever had and was beyond grateful to meet this man.

Feel free to visit his website and facebook profile online at http://www.mesarosart.com and  https://www.facebook.com/Francis-Mesaros-Pancture-Paintings-216284148382286/

To my friends and followers, in times of despair look within at what defines you as a person.  You’ll find the answer and that answer that will pivot you to greatness.   If you believe in yourself and have the perseverance to prevail nothing can stop you!
